Priscilla had the great fortune of being born into a family of brilliant, comedic, musical, Type A personalities who believe that anything is possible if you are willing to work hard. Her parents encouraged, emboldened, and empowered her...along with finding a way to pay for voice lessons, dance lessons, acting classes, summer camps, choir uniforms, participation fees, application fees, entry fees, background tracks, sheet music, and accompanists as well as many of the gowns she still wears. Mom was right; Classic never goes out of style.
Priscilla holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, and a Master of Music in Music History/Literature. She graduated Summa cum laude, and was chosen Most Outstanding Graduate of the School of Visual and Performing Arts. Priscilla was twice selected for inclusion in "Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities".
After college, Priscilla began pursuing her singing career in opera. Deciding upon Florida as her home base in 1996, she began to go into high school choral programs whenever she was in town to talk to the students about following their dreams of majoring in music in college. The surprising by-product of her efforts to inspire and encourage the kids was that she very quickly found herself with a full private voice studio.
